If you want to create a new character for pvp. And don't want to die quickly in pvp. You need a durable class. It can be healer or tank no problem for you but you don't want to die quickly.

You have an archon? Archon is by far a top PVP class The only class that really gives you trouble is a light-bringer. My suggestion is stick with archon and level up your skills. I have had a character from every class almost and spent $1000s on skills masteries and such. Archon is my favorite and one of the most powerful. If I had to choose a tank tho Dragonrider would be my pick,Ive never known them to be squishy. They are great tanks with great self healing abilities. Don’t keep switching characters pick 1 and stand by it. You character will always lose if you never take the time to build their abilities up.

I mainly enjoy PVP 1v1 and mass so what class would be best for me to start with? and if you could fine me a best ranged and best melee and some info that would be great.

You can cross class transfer it it cost 4 of the class scrolls. You can also reset all masteries and skills with Diamonds and transfer them to your new character. But try not to keep switch to many times by now people have hella strong characters and the more ya switch the further behind you get

                                              
Open world PvP once you unlock the Island and 4 BGs and also there’s 1v1,2v2,3v3 arena. The island is fun and the BGs are actually really fun as well.

PvE melee dmg : weapon master PvE ranged dmg: Necromancer/Demon Hunter PvE healer: lightbringer

PvP healer: Archon PvPmelee dmg: Spellblade (bursty rogue) PvP ranged: Frost Whisperer
